Overview
In partnership with Gibson Custom, Epiphone proudly presents the 1962 ES-335 Reissue -- a stunning recreation of the iconic ES model from the legendary class of 1962. This top-of-the-line semi-hollow captures the spirit of the original in every detail, from its authentic dimensions and contours to its precise inlay patterns and unmistakable tonal character.
The 1962 ES-335 features a 5-ply layered maple/poplar body with a solid maple center block, delivering enhanced sustain and excellent feedback resistance. A one-piece mahogany neck with a 1962 SlimTaper C profile pairs with a rosewood fingerboard adorned with small block mother-of-pearl inlays for a classic look and feel.
The Gibson-style "Open Book" headstock showcases split diamond and Epiphone logo mother-of-pearl inlays, complemented by nickel Epiphone Deluxe double-ring tuners. An Inspired by Gibson double-diamond logo is etched on the back of the headstock, completing the vintage-correct aesthetic.
Electronics are equally authentic, with a pair of Gibson Custombuckers hand-wired to CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and a Switchcraft pickup selector switch and output jack, delivering the rich, articulate tones that define the ES-335 legacy.
