The Epiphone J-45 Studio is part of the Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars have been completely reimagined to offer the most authentic and affordable acoustic guitars inspired by iconic Gibson designs. The J-45 Studio blends classic style and modern functionality, appealing equally to beginners and seasoned players alike.

Based on the classic Gibson J-45 "The Workhorse," the J-45 Studio features a sloped shoulder body and 24.75" scale length, just like the Gibson model that inspired it. It delivers a warm, rich tone with exceptional clarity, making it ideal for a wide range of musical styles.

The body features layered mahogany with four-ply ivory and black binding on the top and single-ply ivory binding on the back. A solid spruce top provides responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that improves with age.

The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a glued-in tapered dovetail joint and features a Rounded C profile for comfortable playability. It's topped with a rosewood fretboard with 20 standard frets and simple pearloid dot inlays.

At the bridge, the strings pass over a compensated plastic saddle and are anchored by a belly-up rosewood bridge with ivory-colored bridge pins. Vintage-style appointments include a teardrop-shaped dark tortoiseshell pickguard, three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory plastic buttons, and a 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo in gold silkscreen.
