This SG tribute is exceptional in every way. The finish is absolutely gorgeous and everything you would expect from a cherry Gibson SG. Epiphone has done a wonderful job. The pickups are great, nice and hot but not too overzealous. The SG classic tone that rings out when you play this guitar is instantly recognizable. When plugged into an amp with some nice gain you’ll be getting sounds reminiscent of Black Sabbath’s Tony iommi in no time with little effort with this guitar. Absolutely incredible for the price. Couldn’t be happier. Impressed at the package for the price, Epiphone absolutely outdid themselves. This is as good as it gets for the price range !!
