Casio LK40 61-Key Lighted Keyboard (B-Stock)

With Casio's new LK-40 key lighting keyboard you can learn how to play music instantly. Not only does this keyboard have Casio's unique lighted keyboard that teaches you how to play melody and chord, but it also has the ability to connect to your PC so that you can download additional sheet music from Casio's website.

According to Neil Roberts, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Casio's Electronic Musical Instrument (EMI) Division, the LK-40 teaches you the notes to play by lighting up. "You simply follow along and soon you are on your way to playing," he said. "Any of the keyboard's 100 built-in tunes - from pop to classical - can be used as lesson tunes. There's even a three step lesson feature that lets you advance step-by-step so you can build your repertoire at your own pace," Roberts added.

The LK-40 also includes the unique feature that allows the keyboard to connect to your PC with a MIDI cable so that you can download songs from Casio's website. (A Windows 95/98 compatible PC is necessary as is the optional MIDI cable and interface.) "In addition to the 100-tune song bank, you now have the ability to add additional sheet music to your library," said Roberts. The tune is played by sheet music software and the keyboard will play the selected song by lighting the keys.
