They owe me not only my purchase money but the time I wasted recording tracks that ended up being useless because it crashed or had dropouts.
Sound
Sound quality is excellent. I didn't give it a 10 only because I was comparing it to a limited number of other products such as Audacity and the windows WAV recorder. It was the best sound quality I have heard yet. (MME mode was way better than ASIO)
Features
Track splitting after recording LPs and the ability to name the tracks while splitting and then have those names show up as the name of the WAV or MP3 files is the Cat's Pyjamas. Also, once again, sound quality is excellent.
Ease of Use
I had multiple difficulties installing. Only works if you have only one sound card on your computer. Two sound cards (i.e. the built-in one on the motherboard and any second, higher quality sound card you may be using) throw it for a bad loop. I had to disable all but one sound card to make it work.
Quality
Out of every three times I ran it it would: 1. record properly 2. Crash and stop working, usually while saving AFTER an entire 20 minute album side had been recorded, causing me to curse, lose the entire file and have to re-record the album side. 3. have Dropouts in the recorded track rendering one or more songs useless and causing me to re-record part of the album side. SO: 33% success is not very good and… read more wasted a lot of my time. These problems were incredibly frustrating, were not helped by the support people and caused me to ABANDON this product.
Value
What an incredible deal the software makers have. In the quest to avoid piracy there is no returning software. Here is a product that after multiple hours spent does not work for me and I have NO recourse to return it for a refund. What a world.
Manufacturer Support
NONEXISTANT SUPPORT. multiple emails went unanswered, calls unhelpful.
