Put that recycled bottleneck to use. This slide features a wine bottle lip and flared sides.

The most traditional of slides are the bottlenecks. Big Heart makes most of theirs from recycled wine bottles, but they also use anything from glass candlesticks to handblown glass vase necks from local swapmeets. Their philosophy is, if it's got good glass and looks like a finger and a guitar would like it, it just changed jobs.

The Big Heart Bottleneck slide features a wine bottle lip, and flared sides. Glass is a material that's been used for guitar since the very beginning. At Big Heart, they offer everything from recycled wine bottlenecks and medicine bottles to handblown glass slides. Nothing beats glass for high end overtones and a clean but very emotionally resonant sound.
