Behringer X V-AMP Modeling Amp/Multi-Effect Pedal
Here's one great looker--and that's just the beginning! The X V-Amp is a floor-based unit not only featuring the best V-Amp models of celebrated guitar amplifiers and speakers, but also providing the most desirable stomp box simulations combined with a multi-mode expression pedal.
16 amp models with or without cabinet simulation, compressor, noise gate, EQ, modulation effects, delay and reverb are at your disposal use up to 11 effects simultaneously for a total of unbelievable 61 effects! The 24-bit high-resolution stereo multi-effects processor includes not only one but four models of first-class stomp box simulations of each of the following: chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, rotary speaker, pitch bend effects and many more, giving you a total of 32 stunning modulation effects.
A special acoustic simulation and an amp bypass function are also included. The expression pedal is freely assignable for real-time control of effects or wah/volume control. Naturally, a power supply is included. All in all, the X V-amp offers a combination of features that is simply tough to beat!

"Great Effects for no money"

The effects have me. My rating is for those and the foot pedal access.
Sound
I bought this for the effects only. I have three amps hooked up to it and the rest of my gear gets me what I want as far as amp sounds go. So for $75 I got four choruses, four tremolos, four phasers, four flangers, rotary speaker, and delays. These aren't effects I use often, but I like having them when I do want them and I don't want my floor strewn with all the pedals that would be necessary for such a collection. The X V-Amp is small and being able to use the expression pedal to control effect parameters is icing. My rating is for the sound of the effects.
Features
Best features are the small size and the expression pedal to control effects parameters. Worst feature is the need to press multiple buttons to access some controls. There's a mod to add a knob that will do whatever the the pedal is assigned to do. It's cool too in that you can use the knob to set a limit on how low the pedal goes (like making it stop at volume=4 when pulled all the way back). Ease of Use
There's more learning curve at the beginning than I expected for such a small unit. Once the routine is down though I can get around quickly enough. The multi-button thing is a bit of a drag but again, easy enough to get around with once you understand the basic patterns.… read more
