Building a small PA system on an even smaller budget? Behringer's compact B112D powered speakers offer two XLR inputs and 1000 watts of bi-amplified output.

Behringer's B112D Eurolive powered loudspeakers give you huge output power and great sound for the price! The design on these bi-amplified speakers is guaranteed to deliver total ease of use. Also, if you're using wireless microphones a lot, you'll appreciate Behringer's innovative incorporation of an UltraLink port for direct connection with compatible microphones.

Smaller Sibling to the B115D

The B112D has a 12" woofer -- slightly smaller than the 15" cone you'll find in the Behringer B115D, which makes the B112D slightly better in situations where you're not overdriving the bass. You'll get great results using the B112D as mains in a small full-range system, or as onstage monitors for guitarists or vocalists.

Totally Proprietary Speaker Design Sets Them Apart

The Eurolive B112D moves its 1,000 watts through a custom-designed 12-inch long-excursion driver. The tweeter onboard is also a Behringer proprietary design, with a 1-inch phenolic-diaphragm compression driver moving through a wide-dispersion large-format exponential horn.

Instantaneous Connection With UltraLink Mics

One unique feature found only on Behringer PA speakers is the dedicated UltraLink port on the rear. This allows you to directly connect the receiver from one of Behringer's UltraLink wireless microphone systems directly into the onboard amplifier, delivering two channels of sound that are immediately calibrated and usable. If you use UltraLink wireless, Behringer PA speakers are the read more obvious choice.

Powerful Yet Chill

Behringer's custom-engineered Class-D power amps in these speakers deliver maximal performance with minimal distortion and heat gain. They utilize SMPS technology (Switch Mode Power Supply), that allow them to run at maximum output without becoming too hot.

Easy I/O Monitoring

The B112's two-channel onboard mixer features a pair of low-noise Behringer mic preamps with lots of headroom. The inputs into these amps will take almost any microphone or line-level signal you'll need to run through your speakers. The highly readable gain controls and Clip LED next to the Variable Input helps you dial up your input level quickly and efficiently. There is also an extremely helpful Link Output XLR connector that will allow you to daisy-chain to a second B112 or any other active loudspeaker.

Onboard DSP

The onboard active DSP includes a number of useful real-world features. Most obvious is the dual-band EQ, which you can use to tune the sound of the speakers to compensate for boomy or overly bright-sounding rooms. Under the hood, each B112D features an active crossover, dual protection limiters, and transducer response correction.

Use Them as Satellite Speakers or Monitors

The B112D comes in a trapezoidal case that allows it to sit comfortably as an onstage monitor. These speakers also have standard pole cup mounts that allow you to get them in the air when you need to.

Behringer B112D Eurolive Active Speaker

Behringer and B112D Eurolive active loudspeakers are exactly what you've come to expect from Behringer-more power, more features and absolutely more affordable! Behringer's engineers have really outdone themselves, creating two self-contained PA solutions that merge state-of-the-art, 1,000-Watt Class-D power amp technology, built-in wireless microphone capability and exceptional portability. These professional active loudspeakers are destined to become legends in its own right, alongside the other Eurolive models that have made Behringer the world leader in active loudspeakers.

Cut the Fat - Keep the Beef

Behringer drew from their considerable experience to build these performance-grade loudspeakers and made them lighter (B115D: 38 lbs./17.2 kg; B112D: 32 lbs./14.5 kg) and more powerful. They started with custom-engineered Class-D power amps for the ultimate in low-distortion power and efficiency. Backed by SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) technology, the high-tech alternative to heavy transformers and massive heat sinks, these loudspeakers can run cool all day and all night without even breaking a sweat!

Wireless Wonderland

Until now, adding wireless microphones to a PA system meant either a mess of wires and dangling receivers or worse, a built-in receiver with dodgy performance and a hefty price tag. Those days are officially over thanks to Behringer ULTRALINK Series wireless mics that feature Behringer's exclusive, ultra-compact 2-channel receiver. Just plug the receiver into the dedicated wireless port on the rear panel and you have full access to two channels of supremely stable, natural-sounding wireless connectivity. Sold separately and available in hand-held or headset models, Behringer ULTRALINK Series wireless mics will immediately (and inexpensively) expand your B115D/B112D to handle virtually any live sound application.

Built-in Mixing Capability

The integrated mixer features the same ultra low-noise, high-headroom mic preamps that have made Behringer mixers legendary, and the two inputs accept virtually any mic/line level signal you're likely to run across. Variable Input gain controls (with Clip LED) will have you dialing in the perfect level every time. And if you need more coverage, use the convenient Link Output XLR connector to add more active loudspeakers.

Power and Control

There is absolutely no substitute for amplifier power in high-performance loudspeakers; the kind of power it takes to deliver clean, in-your-face vocals and chest-thumping bass day in and day out. That's why thry gave these bad boys 1000-Watts of bi-amplified, digitally processed output power. But with great power comes great responsibility, so the engineers included a proprietary DSP (Digital Signal Processor) with high-end features such as a dual-band EQ, an active crossover, dual protection limiters and transducer response correction, ensuring these loudspeakers deliver incredible output at the lowest possible distortion levels.

Custom-Engineered Transducers

Powerful, high-efficiency Class-D amplifiers and Switch Mode Power Supply technology coupled with state-of-the-art DSP functionality sure sounds impressive- but what about the part of the system you actually hear? Behringer never cuts corners on their transducers (woofers and tweeters), and they'll never just pull what they have off the shelf. Behringer's LF (Low Frequency) and HF (High Frequency) transducers are designed specifically for each application-it's what sets them apart from the competition. When you buy a Behringer active loudspeaker, you can rest assured that the transducers inside have been engineered to perform flawlessly in conjunction with every other element for truly professional results. B112D active speaker systems crank out massive quantities of low end, with articulate, detailed mids and crystal-clear highs.

Extraordinarily Versatile

Thanks to its trapezoidal shape, the B115D and B112D are suitable for a wide variety of applications. They can be mounted on standard speaker poles, placed vertically atop subwoofers, or even laid down.

When I pulled this out of the box I thought it looked a bit underwhelming. I set it up in my living room with a Roland VR-09 directly connected and was impressed with how loud it could go and remain clean. Not the best tone, but not harsh. Not the best bottom end, but the EQ on the back of the speaker helped. That night I took it to rehearsal with the full classic rock cover band I'm in. I set up the VR-09, a QSC K12, the Berhringer B112D, and ran stereo through a Mackie Mix5. (all purchased from zZounds BTW) The 2 speakers complement each other very well. With a total of 2000 watts between the two it can be very loud and clear. I had more than enough headroom to keep up with Machine Gun Roy on drums, a Marshall stack and the bass guys Ampeg stack. I never really got above half way on the volume, and I really kicked a couple synth and organ leads hard! I couldn't pull off a gig with just the B112D, but it really complements the K12 which wasn't quite enough. Plus the B112D will be easy to carry home for practicing. Overall I'm very impressed with this little beast, and can recommend.
