"2008 Mac Pro 8 Core, Fastest Machine On the Market!!!!"
I think this is the last Computer I will buy for at least the next 3-5 years unless some other technology replaces the way we make music. I use my Mac Pro for Music/ Video multimedia web productions and Photography. I can not believe I have such a powerful tool, that will last for years to come.

Sounds great but of course you will want to use your own sound card or source, I just upgrade from a Delta 101Lt that I had on my Dual G5 PPC 2.5gz and 4gb of ram. To the Tascam Fw1080, I like this unit, firewire, controller and sound card and midi. Yeah I know there is better but this is for a home studio in my bedroom and it does just fine,

New 2008 mac Pro with 8 cores, has so much power, "OMG" this thing is a beast, if you use it for audio and video productions you will want at least 4gb of Memory, I loaded 48 tracks of audio in Logic and effects on all tracks and I barely had a reading on 5 of the cpus, 24 tracks I barley had a reading at all. My G5 would get an error message with the included Demo songs that are shipped with logic, I had to freeze most of the tracks, but with the new mack pro, it plays with no problems using about 1.5 of memory and low cpu power. Its also super quiet, you would never know it was on unless you looked at your screen. Brand new sleek keyboard is nice too. The video is great, easy installation for memory and hard drives, just snap right in, no read more tools needed, I added 3x500 gb to go with the 320 that came with the system. Memory price is dropping fast I now have 12 gb of memory, I started with 2 from the factory.

Ease of Use
Vey Easy to setup firewire or usb devices.

Made like a tank as usual, Aluminum like the other Mac pros, very heavy, will last a lifetime

Buy the basic system and upgrade it yourself save thousand of dollars.

Manufacturer Support
Apple gets better and better, I think if they came out with a 12 or 16 core in the near future I would keep my 8 core, the hardware is way beyond most software. Not to may 64 bit software as it is,

The Wow Factor
Every Mac users Dream Machine, this is the Rolls Royce of systems. You will not regret buying one, once you have it.
