Integration into a HiQnet system with optional HUB 4000 Q

The IVM 4 is the first system ever to combine all the features required for professional in-ear monitoring in a single, compact device. The IVM 4 allows the input signal to be processed individually to meet the requirements of both the artist and the sound system environment.

Unique integrated signal processing for a natural listening experience and a complete set of inputs and outputs make the IVM 4 an ideal tool for professional applications.

HiQnet - System Architect

With the optional HUB 4000 Q, AKG wireless systems can be integrated into a HiQnet system. The wireless system can be remote-controlled and monitored with the Harman control software System Architect (from a PC), the AKG Wireless iPhone App (from an iPhone/iPod touch/iPad) or VM2 (from a Soundcraft Vi mixing console). The setup and configuration of the frequency management of a multichannel wireless system is incredibly easy within the System Architect with tools like 1 Click Setup, RF Monitor, Device Manager and Environment Scan.

I have owned the ew300 G3, used the Shure PSM9 and this thing is supreme in every way. The built in room algorithms and the DBX compressor settings are not a gimmick, they still make me laugh out loud about how mech better my ears sound with it. I was never able to do both ears if I had a mono mix, only if I had stereo and room mics, but this has changed that completely. The menu is complex and takes a few minutes sitting with it to get to know how to operate it, but once you undrstand it you are good to go. Just do it. Why are you still reading? Order it!

Musical Background:

Play professionally most nights of the week.

Musical Style:

Whatever pays :) Currently on bass dressing as a nerd playing 80's, though I do have better personal taste.
