Electro-Harmonix Canyon Delay and Looper Pedal
Updated February 7, 2025 14:07 by Mason Souza
Hey everyone, it's Mason from zZounds with some things to know about the Electro-Harmonix Canyon delay. This delay pedal is super versatile: you've got 10 different delay types, plus an onboard looper. You've got controls for the effects level, the delay time, and the feedback, or the amount of repeats that you get. You can even select beat subdivisions here: you can go between quarter, eighth, and dotted eighth notes. And if you hold this button down, you get access to two extra controls via these two knobs -- they control the modulation that you see on some of these affected delays, both the depth of the effect and the rate of the effect. Simply adjust them to whatever you'd like them to be, hit the knob one more time, and those settings are stored. If you prefer a tap tempo via an external footswitch, simply use the tap input here and connect another footswitch. And on the back, if you take off the back panel, you'll notice a switch to control the tails: you can turn them on or off after the delay is disengaged. So you've got a lot of customization in a small-format pedal. Check it out -- it's the Electro-Harmonix Canyon. You can find it at zZounds.

The effects this thing can create are phenomenal. While playing live using the shimmer effect people tell me they kept looking for the organ playing with us and were amazed to hear it was just my pedal. If you are looking for a delay pedal with something more this is it! Electro Harmonix hit it out of the park with this one. Don't think I'll purchase another pedal brand again.
