Overview
LP's Black Box II Cajon is based on the best-selling LP Black Box Cajon, but includes upgrades for an improved playing experience and enhanced value. The Black Box II features a Meranti (often called Philippine mahogany) soundboard that is glued to increase tone, while an eco-friendly MDF body offers density and durability. Two sets of internal snare wires makes slaps more crisp an an integrated bass port enhances projection during live performances. Slightly larger than the original, the Black Box II Cajon also features a signature all-black matte finish for slick, stunning visual appeal.
