Definitely a learning curve to mastering this instruments potentially. I use a ebow for a lot of my songs and the sustainer reacts similar but my first impression was how genius the wiring was custructed. I found the guitar to be easy and familiar to play like a traditional Stratocaster but was impressed with how subtle the sustainer functioned when engaged. I own several Stratocasters and I found the neck to be chunky in comparison but very comfortable to play. The tremolo is very responsive primarily due too fender using only two springs. You’ll find this setup to be practical for maximizing your control when used in conjunction with the sustainer. If you notice fret buzz out of the box you’ll need to make a minor truss rod adjustment but all considering it’s ready to plug-in and play.

Sound
Pickups are nice selection and give you a variety of tonal options. Setting this guitar apart out of the box from standard Stratocasters.

Features
Fan of the vintage style tuners and bridge. Sustainer pickup has a nice tonal sound. I would have preferred a 22 fret neck over the 21 fret due to the purpose of this instrument.

Ease of Use
Straight forward operation. Sustainer will take time to get use to using. You’ll find the need to use thumb to mute E string for better control of using sustainer.

Quality
Quality is top notch looks and feels like some American… read more made Stratocasters. * the rear cavity is raw wood, i’m Curious as to if the inside cavity has been painted and treated with conductive paint to reduce feedback. You’ll have to check for yourself however with that said for a Stratocaster there is not a lot of hum.

For the price a hardcase should have been included over a gigbag.
