Hey everyone, it's Mason from zZounds here to tell you a few things to know about the Mono Betty guitar strap. Overall, this is a really simple-looking, minimal kind of strap, but I think it looks great, and the materials are really high quality throughout. You've got neoprene underneath here that will slide easily on your shoulder during shows. The core in the middle of the strap is memory foam—it's super plush, super comfortable, even during long gigs. Your shoulder will feel just fine.

Mono used really rugged materials here on the ends, a material called Hypalon that they claim Navy SEALs actually used to make their rafts. You've also got steel on all the metal parts here, like the adjustment straps.

And there's one little secret compartment underneath here—it's a pick pouch you can use to store extra picks in case you tend to lose them or throw them out into the crowd during your gig.

I have owned this a while and wanted to wait to see how it would do before giving it a review. Being a bassist who's getting older and having developed arthritis in my spine, I needed a quality strap to help with fatigue in my shoulder and back pain from long hours of playing. I actually bought this strap on a whim based on its description, and I am so glad I did! I own other "quality" straps, but this one has become my favorite to use these last few months. I've used it on my Warwick's, Ibanez's, Jaguar, etc., and I am amazed at how much better the weight of these basses are for me. The padding is thick and comfortable. The stitching quality of it is top notch and seems like it will last for a long while. I would have paid double for this strap and I'll most likely be getting another very soon! Even though I'll be dealing with arthritis for the rest of my life, this strap has made it more bearable for me to continue doing what it is I love to do.
