The Ibanez Fingerstyle Collection is perfect for players who are serious about taking their performance to the next level. Every single detail is designed to cover a wide range of playing styles, whether you're a traditional fingerpicker, or at the forefront of modern percussive playing. The Ibanez Fingerstyle collection, with its tonal integrity and superior playing feel, will unleash your creativity.

The ACFS300CE features a specially-designed Grand Concert body shape, thicker than a regular Artwood Grand Concert instrument by 5mm at the neck joint to 9mm at the bridge end. The extra thickness provides a deep bottom end, yet retains a balanced tone. The solid Engelmann Spruce top and Okoume back and sides provide a responsive playing feel and a warm, sensitive tone. The African Mahogany and Pau Ferro 5pc neck has enough durability for alternative and open tunings. The neck shape is also specially-designed and features a 45mm nut width, comfortable thin neck grip for easy fingering and a round neck heel that allows for easy access to the higher fret positions.

The ACFS300CE comes with both undersaddle and contact pickups on the neck joint block. This dual pickup system was developed to capture the string vibration through the whole body and neck, which provides rich acoustic tone and a dynamic percussive sound from the body and neck. Dual Outputs (Mono Out/Stereo Out) allow the player to use the pickups individually or output a blend of the two. The Open Pore semi-gloss read more finish gives a percussive resonance, perfect for creating 'scratch' style sound effects. The 18:1 ratio gear tuners and unbleached Oil-impregnated Bone nut and saddle offer solid tuning stability. Gigbag included. read less

I never leave reviews. This guitar deserves love though. I pull it out of the box and the soft case, could be better but it looks nice, offers some protection but I will replace it with a hardshell or nicer soft case eventually. I take out the guitar and I am greeted by a lovely light colored top, the fingerboard has a warm figure to it and other than a few minor finish issues, its punching well above its weight. The wood rosette and soundhole binding are super classy and I am baffled as to why they didn't do that on solid wood version. Fit and finish is flawless. Neck feels great, action is low and buttery, tuners are surprisingly good. (I actually have a set of Gotohs I may or may not even install given how good these are). Intonation is as perfect as I can hope for across the board. The guitar is grand concert size, perfect for my frame, and the body depth gives the sound a round full spectrum, balanced tone. But what has and continues to blow me away, is the sustain and resonance this guitar has. The overtones that sing back at you, how the back and top vibrate, it feels and sounds like I am playing with delay/reverb! It is a stunning experience that even my custom Taylor didn't deliver. If I just got lucky and this is an abnormally good pull then I apologize if you buy this on my rec. But the guitar I have punches well above its weight. zZounds remains amazing and I am proud to do my musical shopping here. Thanks as always!!!
