The PRS Paul Reed Smith SE Angelus A40E Acoustic Electric Guitar cutaway with X-bracing, Sitka spruce top and ovangkol back and sides construction provides a controlled attach and strong fundamental delivering a warm, woody tone with a focused, punchy midrange. This strong midrange character allows the AX20E to easily find a non-competing place in a mix making it ideal for both the studio and the stage.

High-quality components include Sitka spruce top, ovangkol back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, bone nut and saddle and PRS designed tuners. The Angelus Cutaway body shape is both aesthetically pleasing and provides easy access to the upper frets.

These guitars come standard with under saddle Fishman GT1 electronics that are accessible via the soundhole with both tone and volume controls and a high quality hard shell case.

Ok so i researched this guitar for a while.. Since the beginning of the year to be exact. But I finally pulled the trigger thanks to zZounds and their pay as you play... Thanks to them I have like 6 guitars lol everything arrived quickly and secure. As per usual (zZounds rocks) but when I opened the guitar there was a bit of shock... The guitar came a bit dirty.. And scuffed... The neck and bridge were almost white dry.. So I went to work... And after some cleaning polishing and oil to the fret board and bridge there she was. The guitar I expected! Stunning and beautiful! And sounds infinitely better than my 114ce... But not better that my 414ce v class... But the fact that it out performs a near $1000 guitar is more than enough for me. The guitar is solid.. And great.. My only issue was the shock at how dirty it came from factory. But it wasn't damaged in any sense. 15/10 in my book. Not bad China... Not bad at all.
