So I purchased this for my prs guitar to sit in the case with it and when I received it and I attempted to charge it with just a standard type c charger, but it didn't charge, and I thought it was defective. After purchasing another one from a different company, the same thing happened.So then I thought of using the cable that was provided. Sure enough, it's charging the actual clip on tuner now. With everything that uses a type c, usually, you don't have eleven different type c cables laying out.So that's why I didn't think of using this one first. The cable is definitely proprietary to the tuner.
