The Gibson Les Paul Standard returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played and loved -- shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard '50s has a solid mahogany body with a maple top, a rounded '50s-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stop bar tailpiece, vintage deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, and amber top hat knobs. The calibrated Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with AlNiCo II magnets, audio taper potentiometers and orange drop capacitors.

I took a chance and bought the "Blemished" Les Paul Gold Top Standard. I received last week and I still have not found where it was Blemished? Finish is perfect, Tone is perfect, Not a scratch on it Stays in Tune and the Elegance of a Gibson is there. The only issue I have is I also own a few other Les Paul's and a Gibson ES-335 which since I received the Gold Top they just don't get used. Love the Guitar ... I have never not been satisfied with any purchase from zZounds. The Customer Service department goes out of their way to ensure a customer is satisfied with a purchase. Highly Recommend the Gibson and Highly Recommend buying from zZounds. Got me a Gibson at a Great Price, from now on I won't hesitate buying a Blemished or Open Box Item from zZounds.
