I bought one of these babies from a competitor, which I rarely do. If you want a Strat sound in a Tele body, this guitar is for you. I got the Sherwood green with a rosewood neck. Beautiful axe inside and out. You get a single coil pickup in the middle to give it the ability to sound like a Strat. Great action and intonation. You can really shred on this baby. I have a Strat Ultra II HSS, which I purchased from zZounds, and the Tele is pretty close. If you like the feel of a Tele and the sound of a Strat, you can't go wrong with the Hotshot. I've been playing for over 60 years, and I have to say, Fender is really stepping up their game. I got mine for $1349 on sale. For an American Tele you can't beat the price. Enjoy, and buy it from zZounds!!!
