"Gorgeous sound. Cheap veneer finish. Not as "Loud" as they claim."

I like it, when practical, it will be my main amp for acoustic playing.
Sound
Very nice sound. I typically would rather play my acoustic unplugged. This amp actually is encouraging to plug in to, the sound is inspirational, rather than the usual "uh oh I am plugging my acoustic guitar into an amp and it will now sound poopy," -- this thing sounds awesome and is fun to plug into.
Features
The line out also worked well for recording. Normally I would record an acoustic with a mic, and ideally using both mic'd and direct signal, but direct signal typically didnt sound good, until I tried the line out on this ZT amp.
Ease of Use
I haven't used it much, but my first impression of the feedback eliminator control is it took some clarity away, which ruined the great sound this amp has. I either need to find that balance, or just use the amp in a situation where it's not going to feed back. I don't think it is as loud as it is touted to be. If you are going to play a gig with this Amp you will likely need to plug the line out into the PA and use the amp for a monitor, which you probably still won't heard over all the other intruments. My vocals sound great through this amp. The signal you send to PA will be outstanding.
Quality
It's a tight solid product, but has veneer finish. I don't know what happened because I was very careful with my brand new amp taking it to a little jam session to try it out, but it somehow developed a chip by the carrying handle where the veneer started to come off. Lukily the piece of veneer was still hanging there so I was able to super glue it back in place and it's not noticable at all, like it didn't happen. Otherwise it would have been one little light jam session and it's blemished. So -- I would say the veneer isn't so tough, be careful not to bump it or let a cord hit it or something.
Value
I think it should have been $100 less.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had to use support.
The Wow Factor
I was mostly interested in something that is loud enough and lightweight. It's lightweight, 12 lbs, but unless you are playing solo, probably not going to be loud enough to be heard over other heavy equipment that someone else was willing to lug to the jam/gig. For the price you pay for this amp, it should be something you can gig with.

"Great amp for vocalist (in acoustic music, particularly Jazz)"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I sing jazz. I am Roland AC60 user (bought it from zZounds), and was happy of its sound. However, to carry around the city on subway or bus, it's still bulky and heavy if I need to travel more than 20 min. I wanted to have a smaller amp that I can carry around. (I still happy with the sound of AC60 > Roland people) So far, I found no issue using ZT in a small lounge and restaurant, and all of musicians who worked with and sat in the gig using ZT agreed it works well. Particularly everyone impressed about the warmth of the sound. I cannot speak for guitar players, but I confidently can speak for singers (particularly jazz singers) that I think this is so far the best pick for small gigs in sound-wise and budget-wise. Only the remark is that XLR input doesn't have a little stopper, so mic code can easily taken off (it never fell off yet, but worries me). I hope ZT will add that little stopper (or locking clip?) by XLR input.
Sound
Clarity and Warmth are the best two words I can describe on this amp for vocal use.
Manufacturer Support
I don't know yet.
The Wow Factor
Very attractive

"Killer little amp, with a HUGE sound."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

This is a great little amp. Can't wait to play it through a bigger speaker cabinet, as everyone seems to think it makes it sound even better than it already does. So small, but yet very loud. Good anti feedback controls. Nice reverb. This is a KILLER amp.
Sound
Excellent sound quality. Guitar sounded nice and full. Vocals sounded great. Have not used in a live setting yet. I do solo gigs as well as a 2 man acoustic americana band. I am excited about getting out and using this amp.
Features
Very simple to use. Not too many features, which I like. Plug stuff in, dial it up easily, and sound great.
Ease of Use
Couldn't be easier. Plus it's light and easy to take with me.
Quality
Seems well made.
Value
I bought as a "customer return". I will buy this or scratch and dent from Zzounds from now on......I can't find a THING wrong with this.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed it.
The Wow Factor
I'd wanted this for a long time, but didn't wanna spend $400.....got this for like $250.....well worth it. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

"It is what it is"

I bought this to use as a really small, really light, but still really good sounding practice and low volume rehearsal amp to use with my archtop jazz guitar. It fits the bill nicely. Does it sound like a 200 watt amp? Certainly not! It's actually 130 watts RMS anyway, the pre-amp is decidedly low-gain, and the little full-range 6.5 inch speaker just can't move as much air as a larger cone could. But is it pretty loud for a miniscule 12 pound amp? Sure it is! I have bigger better amps for when I need uncompromized tone and volume more than extreme portability. On the other hand, if one were to run the LBA through a serious speaker cabinet, I bet it would be loud enough for most performing situations. Actually, I do wish ZT made this into a 'Lunchbox Jazz' model: Skip the mic channel, add a middle control to the guitar channel, and reduce the price by $100. Bingo!

"ZT Acoustic Lunch Box Amp"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

I heard a great jazz player play the original lunch box amp at a jazz festival and was blown away by the sound, but I do singing and jazz so wanted to have both in one amp. The ZT is a great little amp for local venues. It took some tweaking of the gain and volume to get the warm jazz sound I wanted...but it's there! I play an Eastman jazz guitar with floating pickup that really sounds great with it. I have my next gig for a Christmas party at a winery .... so that will be my first trial by fire. So far I am very pleased. It won't replace a fender Hotrod or a Polytone, my other two amps, but it will become one to be put in the mix for lighter events.

Musical Background:

I own 2 Eastman archtops, a squire archtop, Fender thinlineTele, and a 1950's Epiphone Zephyr Deluxe, plusMartin D28.

Musical Style:

Jazz standards, old pop songs...everything from Ricky Nelson to Willie Nelson. I have trio called Spare Parts.

"Nice LITTLE amp!"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

I bought this on-line having read the excellent reviews with having actually seen/played one. It really is tiny. I returned a SWR Strawberry Blond that I loved because it was too big & heavy. The sound is excellent and I realized it wasn't going to have what one would expect from a 200w amp. That was made clear in everything I read but this is barely louder than my 30w Crate. It's certainly loud enough for practice or a med sized room but it would have to be a pretty quiet coffee house to be heard in a larger venue. Sorry I didn't spring for a Roland
Sound
Sound is clear and sweet except at max volume. Sound is nicer for finger picking and softer strumming. Gets muddy at higher volume/hard strumming. Vocals through mic input sound nice as well
Features
Very simple tone controls gain, bass, treble and reverb
Ease of Use
With so few controls it's pretty simple to just turn the knobs to dial in a nice sound for whatever you are playing
Value
Think it's a little pricey for what it can do
Manufacturer Support
N/A have not or expect to need support anytime soon
The Wow Factor
Sound is great but didn't blow me away. Was disappointed in lack of volume

"Not for my money!"

Overall: 2 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

I bought this little amp expecting 200 watts of power. Not even close. I've heard 15 watt amps that were louder. I sent it back the day I bought it. Distorted at any decent volume. If you're playing in a living room (you might as well just play acoustically) this would work. Any live venue, you'll be drowned-out by any decent sized crowd. This will definitely NOT play over crowd noise. Save your money. Buy something a little nicer.
