I will love and cherish this software till death do us part.
Sound
Unlike some of the other respondents, I have actually owned a Hammond C3 and M3. I have tried MANY clones. The B4 is buy far the nearest to the real thing you will ever get period! That guy from below from Italy is full of crap. The B4 will ROCK your grandmother right out of the grave!!!
Features
B3 - B4 same diff
Quality
NI software is made by German software engineers. Nuff said.
Value
Let's see $1000 - $10,000 for the real deal or $179.00 for the same thing that won't break your back!
Manufacturer Support
Little slow, but hey they are all the way over in Germany.
The Wow Factor
If you need an "authentic" Hammond sound, you simply cannot go wrong. Try it first if you can, and if you can't buy it anyway. It is that good.

"This product is discontinued - no support available"

I'll be satisfied with it until it stops working - but I hate that I don't know when that will be.
Sound
Sounds great - can be a little muddy in recordings, nothing you can't fix with EQ
Features
Great emulation of a classic instrument
Ease of Use
If you can work a Hammond, this will be obvious
Quality

Value
It has no future
Manufacturer Support
Here's the problem. It is discontinued. NI has withdrawn support and does not commit to keeping it working past your next OS update. They haven't been very forthcoming about this either. I will no longer do business with NI apart from keeping Kontakt up to date to play various third party sample libs.
The Wow Factor
Its a great product - except for the fact that it will not be supported

NI B4 Organ Software Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Sound
I had to respond to counter some of the negative reviews. This software instrument fills a couple of different niches that almost nothing else really does. Sure there are a TON of "Hammond" sound emulators out there, but none are as flexible as this one. There's as many different Hammond sounds as there are players, and the organs do NOT all sound alike. This software is really the only way to have a synth that sounds like *your* Hammond. It's also the only Hammond Amp/Chorus/Leslie effect that's worth a damn, and it's worth the price of the software just for the Leslie effect.
Features
It lets you tweak many parameters, even lets you simulate a very worn-in tone generator or a seasoned amp. It emulates many characteristics of the sound that are quite subtle and completely unique to Hammonds.
Quality
I don't know about other NI products, but this one works just fine. They must have really tested it well.
