Feature:
it has a simple and very efficient way to shape your sound... it has a crunch channel for those 70s to early 80s moments and it has a countour control on the overdrive... allowing you to shape the mids tremendously, and one of my favorite features is the od1/od2, od1 allows you to get that classic overdrive tone and has more gain than most amps offer, od2 lets you have it with more gain than you need... effects built in are an awsome feature and the reverb is lucious... and most of all is LOUD as F*ck! i have played huge shows with the volume only halfway up... any higher and i can't stand in front of it, cuz it will deafen you... what? what?!

Quality:
this is a much sturdier replacement for a tube amp... it has a fdd switch to give it a tubelike tone anyhow... like i said, awesome

Value:
for an amp with studio quality, sturdiness, and loud as f*ck, for the price, i would completely recommend this amp

Desirability:
it is just one of those "whoa" things

Sound:
for a solid state amp... this is the sh*t... it has tons of headroom and more overdrive than most amps hope for... this is an amp that i would play at any show

Support:
Marshall has to be the best amp makers in my opinion... don't think so? ask Kerry King, Zakk Wylde, Slash, Jeff Beck, or Eric Johnson to name a few... they will tell you how good marshall amps are, they accept no less!

Overall:
I would use this product anywhere, accept i would probably go with the jcm800 series for a stadium show...

THIS IS THE BEST AMP YOU CAN BUY FOR THE MONEY. IT IS VERY VERSATILE WITH A LOT OF DIFFERENT OPTIONS AND CAN PRODUCE SOUNDS FROM VERY CLEAN SOFT TOUCHY MUSIC TO A VERY TOOLISH CRUNCH TO THE HEAVIEST GROWLING MEATAL SOUND THAT WILL SCARE THE PANTS OFF THE REST OF THE BAND AND MAKE THE DRUMMERS SNARE RATTLE FOREVER!!!! IF YOU HAVE MONEY I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU BUY THIS HEAD, BUT I WOULD SUGGEST HOOK THIS SUCKA UP TO ANY CAB BUT THE MG SERIES (IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY), MAYBE ONE WITH SOME VINTAGE 30'S.WHEN IT COMES IN, AND YOUR A MAKE SURE THAT THE FIRST THING YOU DO IS TURN THE CONTOUR KNOB ALL THE WAY TO 11 AND THE BASS UP. FOR ANY TYPE OF MUSIC YOU GOTTA GET THIS HEAD.ITS BEST THING THAT HAPPEN SINCE I WENT TO A TOOL SHOW.

Feature:
i would like an effects control built it. The already effects loop, and reverb is awesome though.

Quality:
Tough as nails. Benn thrown around alot and still works like new.

Value:
For the price of this amp for such quality/sound. Yeah it's a 10

Desirability:
simply "Marshall"

Sound:
This amp is awesome. Theres a secret way to pull even MORE distortion and amazing kickass marshall sound out of it. Simply turn your master volume all the way up and control the crunch channel's volume with it's volume knob, and the clean with it's gain knob. Yuo wont believe the sound you'll get, it's a completely different sound. By far one of the greatest marshall amps i've played, so i bought one for myself. I would get rid of it for nothing.

Support:
Marshall you simply cant beat

Overall:
I will not buy/need another amp till they come up with one that suits my needs even better

It is so powerful...has a wide range on tones, and has a nice crunchy distortion as well as a good clean sound. The clean could have been a little brighter, but is good none the less. This amp is great for hard rockers like myself who like a little heavy tone. But this can also be used for the more blusey and jazz type players, as it has 2 different types of distortion (1 is more heavy than the other) and a clean crunch mode for the clean channel for those that like their clean sound to have a good distortion. Beautiful Amp..especially for the price...I got it on sale too...I haven't used the cd input jack..but I'm sure that its awsome. I had a Crate GFX1200H before this amp...and although the Crate has effects..this blows it away. doean't feedback bad, and the contour knob let's you adjust how you like your distortion....turn it to the right if you love heavy sounds.

I bought this amp almost a year ago, and I play in a local Oi! band (like punk rock, but nationalistic instead of anarchistic), and it definitly covers my needs. The clean channel with it's slight overdrive is perfect for the music I play and it does a pretty decent job of emulating a more expensive Marshall head. The overdrive channel is awesome if you want to play metal or just plain rocknroll, I can even dial in my Oi! sound on that side, which is a rarity. The tone shaping contour knob is a definite plus and adds to the flexibility of this guitar amp. I love this thing, and I'll keep gigging with it for awhile to come.

i bought this amp bought a month ago. the distorton is OK. my friend used to have a crate 1200h and that had better distortion. but the clean is awesome. it only has 2 channels. i would probably suggest for a starter head get the crate 1200h. marshalls are overated except if u plan on paying over 1000$. i heard marshalls arent good "hard" amps. a friend has the avt150 and he says the same bout his except his has more FX.
