Feature:
I'll admit it lacks on features as compared to todays amps, (hell after all it was made in the 60's), but the idea is to go after that basic tone first then add your other effects on top of that. Ther is nothing that compares to the tone of a Marshall Plexi.

Quality:
Marshall is the only amp. Consider none else. And the 1959 plexi is THE MARSHALL AMP. The saying, "They don't make'em like they use to," don't apply here.

Value:
You want quality you got to pay for it or everyone would have one.

Desirability:
When a good sounding Plexi is put into the right hands to play through it could make you; cry, laugh, sing, get horny, feel brave ect.

Sound:
Here a tweak there a tweak, fire it up and you have real electricity.

Support:
Never had a problem with the Marshall staff. I give them a 7.

Overall:
I'll be happy with them as long as they keep making them. I would be even happier it Marshall made them so we didn't need to modify the reissues to get them to sound like the originals, ie trannys, caps, boards, ect.

Feature:
This amp is not meant to serve as a multi-effects pedal. If you've got the chops. "It'll give it up".

Quality:
As good as any of the outragously priced boutique amps.

Value:
Right on par with all the others in this price range.

Sound:
I gave it an 8 because it takes a little work "JUST LIKE EVERY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT A REAL PLAYER BUYS". The dude that flamed the haed just doesn't get it. WE LIVE IN A MODDING SOCIETY. We mod everything we get. We pay top dollars for the top guitars; the first thing we do is snatch the pickups out, and spend another 2 or 3 hundred to get closer to the tone we want. We buy a new car, and snatch out the stock CD player, and tuner and pluck down for the sound we want. Don't flame Marshall man. They gave us the major components, and we ass resistors, caps,PPIMV kits, ect. I've been playing since 1962 and it's always taken mods to get the true sounds we want.

Support:
Never needed it, so that deserves a 10 from me

Overall:
Read all the above comments; shake 'em up, rattle them together, and then come to your own conclusion as to where I stand. It is worth what you pay for it within the understood context that everything we buy is overpriced.

Feature:
even tho you dont need any sort of effects to add to the awesome tone, i just run a wah through the effects loop and you can hear the difference....

Value:
best money i ever spent on an amp

Desirability:
this amp is the real deal....there is so much beauty in how simple the head looks....if you want flash, be like all the other little girls and buy a Mesa or Peavy

Sound:
hot rod the 2 channels....that is the best way to get the purest tone out of the head....you won't regret it

Overall:
this is the holy grail of guitar amp tone...nothing sounds better than the head's settings all turned up to 10...I was originally drawn to it by hearing Hendrix, Clapton and others, and the best thing about it is that it is so authentic. But at the same time, you don't hear those players in your sound, exactly...you hear you...

Feature:
Not much here, which is a good thing. Just crank the volume up and you've got overdrive. The effects loop changes the tone greatly which is why I'm not a big fan of them.

Quality:
This amp looked petty clean on the inside. There wasn't a big pile of sawdust in it like I have found in some other amps. The tubes are crap which you are going to have to relace. I've gigged with it a few times and it seems strong enough to gig with (I'd have a backup though). The amp seems alittle touchy so you'll have to be careful with it. Cosmetically it is beautiful.

Value:
The tubes and electronics are cheap. How much profit does Marshall want?!? The tone also sounds cheap. I can get better tones from my friends Crate. :p

Desirability:
The appeal for this amp is awesome. People are rushing to buy this "new" plexi. It's all hype. I think Marshall knew that they could build a crap amp, give it the name plexi and a 2000$ list price and everyone would come running. They were right. Don't fool yourselves this sounds nothing like the vintage plexis. They are made very differently inside and out.

Sound:
Are you people kidding yourselves? This amp has one of the worst tones found on a Marshall. Channel 1 is so brittle, thin, and bright sounding its almost unusable. Channel 2 is okay for rhythm but if you want to solo it wont cut through. Connecting the channels gives you a strange tone that seems to be too bright and muddy at the same time. The distortion sounds weak and tired...nothing that reseambles "velvet overdrive". I love playing Zep and Ac/Dc and have spent months looking for a good tone. Nothing. Don't be a schmuck like me and think this will sound anyhing like the vintage Marshalls. Marshall should apologize for this crap.

Support:
Never dealt with them but most major amp manufacturers fail in this category. If you need repairs I'd take it to the local shop.

Overall:
Overall this amp was a D.O.A from day one. Warren Hayes endorses this product yet he brings it to Lee Jackson to mod the hell out of it. What does that tell you about the quality of the amp? I'm looking to sell it or mod it to the original plexi specs (67'-'72 were are the best). Marshall should be ashamed for disgracing the plexi name. Bottom line: stay away. You can find better tones on amps for a third of the price.

Feature:
This amp has no features. You don't need them. There is six knobs and thats the most you need for rock.

Quality:
Typical marshall quality.

Value:
A little expensive when initially purchased but when you get it home and plug in you will think you stole it.

Desirability:
Very sexy.

Sound:
The ultimate in zep and hendrix sound. No distortion pedals needed. This amp is exactly like the original. I own both. There is no difference in sound once the amp is used for a while, a must for any zep fan.

Support:
Never needed support. Marshall amps are extremely durable.

Overall:
I will NEVER buy anything but marshall.
