5 out of 10Feature:
the Kompact player helps to keep the loading of sounds quick. i would recommend one the player per group, as an example: put all the strings to one stereo instance of the plugin, then another instance for horns, etc. the steinway sound btw is excellent as well as the orchestral sounds
Value:
i would give it a 10 if I could authorize on ilok, but that choice is not available.
Desirability:
if you do orchestral, you want this,
Sound:
excellent sound, very realistic, responds well, expressive, must get used to the use of the sustain and mod wheel as you'r,e practice will help alot. Recommendation: get 2G RAM on your computer. dont' use a computer pre 2005, don't use wet sounds, keep to dry sounds,
Ease of Use:
easy to use once you practice with the mod wheel and sustain. make sure you upload the latest!
Support:
slow turnaround when I wanted to re-authorize my hard drive on another computer.
Overall:
10 if I could have ilok authorizaiton.

3 out of 10Feature:
Sparse. Bare-to-the-bones. Too few options to deal with system incompatibilties.
Quality:
Pure crap! It crashed within minutes after installing it. It only ran smoothly in spurts. It wouldn't work at all with my ASIO sound card.
Value:
It's not worth the headaches for the money you save.
Desirability:
Ugly farting duckling.
Sound:
Not bad. Some sounds are above average but not great.
Ease of Use:
Pain in the a**. With such a basic layout and few features, you would think that it would be a cinch to use. Instead it's clumsy and illogical like most of Kontakt plugins.
Support:
No help at all fixing my problems.
Overall:
I will DEFINITELY replace it.
