Feature:
My flashlight owners manual has more information in it. As far s the components, if Macki would have a use for them,I'd suggest that ashdown ship their stock to 'em.
Quality:
I have my old KUSTOM K-250 the thing has got be 40 years old . but at least there is no annoying fans,or hums. You ask the queation, "Would the product be appropiate for use "on the road" ? Yes, as long as there is no hazardous chemicals in it, I would consider using it on the road to fill a pothole!
Value:
NO!
Desirability:
liked the 2 driven channels with the mono block front end. Thinking Hmmmmm, Bass guitar lots of low end power, good for center bass on home stereo. Last time I buy forign built junk ! will Consider macki next time, or yamaha. Asfaras "sex appeal" may work if you " drop it on your beloved or aspirations ! LOL
Sound:
poor quality- real simple, plastic jacks that don't hold cords (they'll fall out from speaker jacks) Only wanted as a sub amp for home stereo center out amplifier. The power supply is poor on its filtering, I have a hum even with nothing attached and all levels cut down to no gain. Fans are on all the time and are noisy, and I wonder if the supply is up to it as the panal lamp flickers at a medium volume. I don't play guitar with it, But I wouldn't want to count on this thing to earn a living. I run 2 15 inch Wharfdale subs- 1 per channel. My Old KUSTOM K-250, makes this thing look sick !
Ease of Use:
Here again,what manual ?
Support:
My initial dilike was their bright VU meter lamp that flickers, contacted ashdown and was told if I removed the bulb it voided the warranty. The bulb isn't even covered by warranty !
Overall:
1,hum 2, lousey flickering panal lamp 3, scratchy erratic pots 4,noisey fans 5, that are on all the time ? 6,had to wait 2 weeks to find a replacement fuse 7, jacks all over are of shoddy quality (at best) 8, considering its ashdowns "premium bass amp" they should go and learn again and do it right.
