Manufacturer's Description for Zildjian Dip Series 5A Drumsticks

Large grip dimension with a slightly oval bead. Excellent all-around stick. The DIP material is a special coating that is applied to the grip area of the stick to provide a comfortable, slightly tacky gripping surface. This allows drummers to loosen their grip and relax their hands more, particularly in sweaty playing situations. The DIP coating also offers the drummer or percussionist an alternative striking surface. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Zildjian products.

"zildjian 5a dip drumsticks are nice!"
Sound: The 5a dip sound great on my drum set. I have a 5a wood pair and i love the bright, controled sound i get when using it on cymbals. Also it sound great on the drums. It sounds better using it on stage than in my practice room. Feature: The features on these drumsticks are great. They are both the exact same weight and are perfectly streight. They are the perfect weight two, not too heavy, not too light. The dip coating prevides the perfect grip. I had a pair of painted drumsticks that would fly out of my hands if my palms were too sweaty. These drumsticks would never do that. The tacky dip coating prevents it. Ease of Use: These drumsticks are very playable and musical. They previde you maximum control and comfort. Quality: These drumsticks are great ecxept for the one that broke. I have a few pairs of these drumsticks and one broke. I think it might have been cracked in the place where i bought it though, because none of the other ones have broke, and they are all played about the same amount of time. Value: This product is definitely worth the selling price. Manufacturer Support: I have not delt with the company. I didnt try to return the drumstick, i just put some carpender's wood glue on them and they were good as new. The Wow Factor: These drumsticks are really nice. They look good, feel good while playing, and sound good. Overall: I think I will buy mostly these drumsticks from now on.

Sound: pretty good Feature: i liked the dip grip but it rubbed away my skin on my thumbs in percussion class Ease of Use: good, light but again the rubbing away of my skin Quality: im right handed i broke it with my left hand on a snare Manufacturer Support: got it for christmas The Wow Factor: i dont know i had them for bout two to three weeks Overall: it lasted pretty long(i got 2 pairs)
