The UW10 is a high quality, compact USB audio interface featuring stereo S/PDIF optical I/O, two RCA analog inputs and outputs and a headphone jack. The UW10 is Windows 98, ME, XP compatible and uses ASIO drivers making it perfect for home and mobile recording applications.

The incorporated headphone amplifier provides quick and mobile monitoring. Includes Yamaha's unique trackdown mode and the TWEplus wave editor for audio editing and MP3 conversion.

"A world of its kind at 16 bit resolution interface."

Sound: U get warm sound for this little semi-pro stuff. Why Not.. This thing rocks. Feature: Could have been more inputs/outputs. Ease of Use: Plug and record. No hassle. Quality: Light but well built. Value: Should be priced below 100USD. Bit expensive for 16bit sound card. Manufacturer Support: Good warranty for 1 year. The Wow Factor: I have it. Overall: This thing could be priced lower cos today resolution of most cards is above 16bits. A bit outclass by its specs. And other USB cards could have been more value priced given this price. Still, its sound quality is respectably good with good AD/DA.

"Noisy box"

Sound: Noisy +10dB...I got what I paid for. Pay the extra money and get the M audio pci if you want to record more professionally. I tried it on several computers and different settings (I do pc repairs for a living). It still does the job of recording though. Feature: I like the simple features, although I've yet to use the digital ports. Quality: Construction is very weak, and almost too light. But on the good side, it's light to carry around. Value: I got what I paid for. Manufacturer Support: I haven't tried contacting them yet. Overall: It's okay for entry level, home.
