Overall, I am satisfied with the exception of the battery life. I am a weekend warrior doing 3-4 nights a week with at least 3, 45 minute sets each night. The battery life cant even last me two full shows. (even while being careful not to leave it turned on when not in use) I have been spoiled by other units that I was able to get 14 hours of battery life and to have to go down to a mere 5 is kind of a pain in the A. Figure out a way to squeeze some more battery life and this will be a killer product.
Sound
I recently bought the rackmount version of this for use with a bass guitar. After I recieved the wireless in the mail, I decided to go back and forth for a while between the wireless and cable and there is a difference. I cant exactly put my finger on what it is, but its noticable only when you do a side by side. Its nothing that I think is noticable enough to give up the freedom of not having a cable.
Features
It came with everything necessary. The battery meter is definately a great feature because the battery life on this unit is horrible. I also really like the screw lock on the battery pack. A great idea for a spot that has given me grief before.
Ease of Use
Definately easy to use. Plug it in and play. Cant ask for anything better.
Quality
Everything looks good and as of now has not given me any problems. The plastic is light and misleading but… read more only time will tell if it is road worthy. I wish that the upgraded cable for the transmitter came standard however....
Value
I think that overall, it is selling at a reasonable price. Good quality, good sound. Again, only time will tell. I give it a nine for now just because I want to see if any problems arise in the future.
Manufacturer Support
Havent dealt with them.
The Wow Factor
It definately has a 'cool' factor to it that draws you in. Its new, its digital, its got cool blinking lights. Sold.
