Feature:
Great features. A drop to a 9 because the footcontroller is extra and very much needed, especially for gigging.
Quality:
Well constructed. Superb quality control and extremely attractive if you are a Vox fan. Very reliable so far. I would baby it because of the sophisticated electronics... It is built to last.
Value:
The best $599 I have ever spent on an amplifier. The head coupled with the Vox 2x12 Speaker Cab is the most tone for buck outside of going the full and expensive boutique amp route. If you love the Vox sound, buy this amp now.
Desirability:
Buy the amp. The Valvetronix will supply the tone you need to match the tone in your fingers. Sheer design genius and for once, a manufacturer that delivers on the marketing promises.
Sound:
All the classic amp tones are here. Beautiful... The effects are all excellent. The WAH is perfect but you need to get the VC-4 Foot Controller to access it. An all around great amp that can be clean or dirty, loud or soft and excellent for gigging, jammin' or recording (or all three!)
Support:
No support needed yet, however, the dealer answered all of my questions promptly.
Overall:
This amp head meets all the musical needs I could ever imagine associated with my guitar playing. I am very happy to have it and it definitely inspires my playing. Highly recommend for all guitar styles except insane high gain metal.

Feature:
The only down side to this unit is that it is so very flexible that in order to use all the features easily in a live environmnet, you'll need either the VC4 or VC 12 foot controller. I'll spend the extra cash and get the VC 12. The ability to access tuner, and preset programs, write your own, or just run the amp in manual mode really give you a tremendous amount of tones, and then you have to include teh added pedal effects, modulations, delays, and this head does it in stereo - gorgeous chorus.
Quality:
The quality of construction is evident in the attention to details in the finishing, such as the amp corners, fret cloth, piping, vinyl, and the cabinet and I expect this to look nearly new 10 years from now. Buy teh fitted covers and it will be worth the investment.
Value:
Definitly worth the discounted retail price.
Desirability:
You'll recognize its classic VOX trapezoid shape, and teh special blue fret cloth is very eye catching. It is both aesthetic and functionally practical.
Sound:
I own a 1995 Fender "Custom" Virbrolux Reverb, and previously owned an AMPEG VT-22 2x12 100 watt combo. I've played various other tube amps since 1967. I've also owned 1996 Fender Ultimate Chorus all Solid State 2x12, and a Vox Cambridge 30 Reverb tube/solid state hybrid, so I'm familiar with the difference between tube, solid state, and hybrid designs.
The AD120VTH is SO GOOD, you'll have a hard time believing you aren't playing your favorite all tube rig. the amp models are very accutate, I compared them against every actual amp I could find in the store, including a vintage tweed deluxe, several VOX, Marshall, Mesa, and boutique amps. The sound, response and feel was truly amazing. The other modeling amps can't tough this.
Support:
No technical problems, but some questions. Response was always friendly, and useful. Best support I've ever had, beats Fender, and Gibson.
Overall:
This should be the last amp I need to buy. Expect it to last 20- 30 years. It is theery best modling amp available, and very reasonably priced. Check out availability of B stock items, and you will save some extra $. Thats what I did. Got the stereo head for a few bucks more than the mono head.
