These Vic Firth 5As are two drumsticks in one. Flip these sticks around to the butt end to play gentle mallet percussion with a synthetic felt mallet head.

The choice of drummers for over 30 years, the Vic Firth 5A American Classic drum sticks now feature a durable synthetic felt mallet head attached to the butt end. The American Classic line combines tradition and Vic Firth style.

Vic Firth Dual Tone feature a tear drop tip for rich cymbal sounds -- light and fast for jazz, orchestral and pit work. The wood tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response. The Classics are turned from select hickory - a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable.
