Sound: I used an old version of the Gold Bundle years ago, and was never able to get other, newer plugs to sound as "professional" when tracking and mixing. The new V8 bundle is as good as I remembered, and now has almost twice as many plugs. Ease of Use: The Waves Gold Bundle is more of a "tweak as you go" set, than a "grab a preset" kind of set. The plugs are all versatile and transparent at the same time, but require some "practice" to figure out how to get exactly what you're looking for. Quality: The best sounding plug ins I've used yet. Value: Waves are not cheap, but I think they're worth the price. I did have to wait until they were on sale to take the plunge, and don't regret the purchase at all. I'll be using them for years to come. Manufacturer Support: I needed some tech support to be able to use the Gold bundle on my old computer, and my new machine, with different operating systems and DAWs, and they were able to get me up and running quickly. They are accessible online or by phone, and seem to know their products well.
