This Taylor Custom Grand Concert combines the warm and true balance of Mahogany and aggressive grain variegation with a warmth and overtone-rich redwood top. Together they yield a perfect combination for a medium to light strummer looking for ribbon like tones, to the fingerstyle player looking for commanding low end mixed with a perfect balance inclusive a bit more tension on the top than cedar. The Adirondack bracing promotes the punch of the mahogany and allows the recoil of the redwood to showcase the low end and sustain properties of a truly unique tonal pairing.

A hand selected smoked ebony fingerboard provide a character unique to this Taylor treasure, showcasing the real color of the adorned wood.
