This revolutionary pickup/preamp system utilizes a behind-the-saddle piezo-electric transducer design as opposed to being placed under the saddle, which tends to produce a thinner and unnatural-sounding capture. This difference becomes more apparent the more aggressively you play. The ES2 system features the same volume and tone controls as the original Expression System, yet with a slightly hotter gain structure to produce more power for your signal.
