A True Dreadnought Guitar

The Taylor 210ce-K has a substantial dreadnought body measuring 4.625 inches wide. The guitar is 16 inches across at its widest point with a 25.5-inch scale neck length constructed of sapele wood, and topped with an ebony fretboard. Comfortable Cutaway

The "C" in the 210ce-K's name refers to the quasi-Venetian-style cutaway in the body. Unique to Taylor's 200 series, this cutaway allows comfortable access to at least the 17th fret.

Custom Onboard Electronics

Taylor's ES-T pickup is a totally proprietary Taylor design -- not to be confused with Taylor's original ES system designed with Rupert Neve. The ES-T on this instrument is result of extensive development on Taylor's own behalf, and an audibly successful innovation in acoustic pickup design. It is a single-source piezo transducer located under the saddle. The ES-T pickup has a true powered preamp with active controls, and includes highly musical Bass and Treble EQ knobs, as well a master Volume control. The amplifier also has a Phase switch, accessible via the soundhole, to give you more control over feedback occurring between monitors and amps. The Phase switch can also be used simply to achieve a different tone.
