I'm already trying to make subtle but cheap improvements, add ports, replace the speakers, add a cheap passive cross over. It was functional for my needs for a time being and worth it but, if it is to live much longer, it needs some work already.

Sound
This set-up is decent for small venues that do not require massive volume or deep bass. Running the unit with the volume up over 6 or 7 causes distortion to creep in and vastly reduces the frequency range, which is not terribly wide anyway. But it is a good practice PA or small venue PA...dance music suffers terribly on it though.

Features
For the money, it is decent but there are comparably priced units for $20 - $40 bucks more that offer way more. Spending the extra is recommended if you can. The two band EQ is virtually useless and that being the only real feature beside volume controls, renders this pretty featureless.

Very easy....plug and play.

Quality
Looks OK, I removed the ST badges. I've run it pretty hard for long periods and it still works. But the low score comes from obviously cheap parts and the fact that I wonder if the speaker cabinets will hold out if they are banged around at all. Also, the speakers are not dampened internally in any way and the Port has no tube...quick and cheap additions that could vastly improve sound quality.

Good for… read more what it is, but don't expect to be pleasantly suprised. Delivers as promised but not an inch more.
