Patterned after the popular C314, the C324 features new real-time trigger pads that allow for instantaneous looping.

Packing all of the benefits of our best-selling C314 plus an abundance of upgraded features, the new Stanton C324 is a must-have for any true CD DJ. This tabletop, slot-loading CD player is designed for MP3 DJs who want to scratch CDs like vinyl, and has everything needed for ultimate performace. With specialties such as MP3 playback with onboard file and folder browsing, onboard pattern and real-time sequencer for drum machine style performances, 7 onboard digital effects, and a sleek slot drive, Stanton has taken everything about the C324 to the next level...except the price tag.

Real-Time Sample/Loop Sequencing
The C324 has added real time trigger pads that offer real-time sample / loop sequencing. This means that trigger patterns can now be recorded in real time and looped instantaneously. Drum patterns and loops can be manually resequenced and then looped to bring a completely new twist to live DJ remixing. This functionality is usually only achieved on drum machines. Using the C324 sequences can be created in seconds compared to minutes using drum machines.

Beat Synchronized Samples and Loops
The C324 can record Loops and Samples, with the length determined by the Time setting. This new feature makes it easy to set up perfect seamless loops. The C324 also allows for the creation of beat synchronized loops based off of the current song's BPM. This means that a perfectly timed seamless loop can be set on-the-fly with one button press. Once a beat synchronized loop has been read more set it can be trimmed or expanded in real time by beat increment. By trimming the beat, a one bar loop can be turned into a 1/2 bar loop, 1/4 note or 1/8th note. Smaller loops can be expanded in the same fashion.

Slot-Loading Mechanism
The C324 has a slot loading CD mechanism with LED for quick loading of CDs into the unit in low light situations.

I am look asap, I was satisfied for the most part, the searching function "fast forward", is kinda annoying. Using the jog wheel is annoying it doesn't keep up with my need for speed cueing.

Sound
I guess the sound is fine if you get the right bitrate's for your songs.

Features
would like to have had the usb ports on it, but this has been out longer than other table just coming out and using usb ports. Would love to have had sd or micro sd slots, that has been around for quite a bit. Don't know how latency will work.

Ease of Use
The features are very nice and the effects are good sounding considering that's not Stanton's focus. BUT understanding the assigning of sound to hot cues and samples, even with using the manual is very effing annoying. It also sux that you have to engage each effect b4 you can set the parameters for it. All effects are tied to the same parameters also, so if you have a range of 0-200, and your desired effect is at 140 and another effect is at 100, then ALL the effects are at 140, or whichever is the last parameter you set. Folder browsing is very simple, thank gawd.

Quality
Buttons seem pretty durable, but seeing as i had to send BOTH tables in after only having for 4 months, these suck in quality. The cd drive that is in there is the worst part. Not only cause they both crashed, but because searching through a song and preparing read more a beat is a very annoying time sink. Not even a month after I finished paying them off, one of them stopped reading discs. I sent it in for repair, free of charge except shipping. I didn't mix for awhile because I was gonna use both cd's for my podcast. I still have my vinyl tables so I figured I'd go for a spin with one cd and my vinyl. Now the OTHER table won't read discs!!!! It worked when I sent the first one in, now all of a sudden I use it and it doesn't work. I thought it was gamble to buy stanton, but did anyway. I'm not a firm believer in highest price is the best and end all quality, but I may go that route from now on. I'm pissed, and now my show is 2 episodes behind, cause all I have is old vinyl.

Value
cheap price lots of features with the loops and hot cues. Considering all the crap im going through and the faults in this product the over all value is low. I'm including the time i've lost mixing, podcasting, and teaching other ppl.

Manufacturer Support
Support was cool and knowledgeable, they only things I didn't like were the fact that I had to pay to ship the product $20 x 2!!!!!!! Also to get an update on the status of my product I have to send an informal email to my rma guy and get an even more informal email back.

The Wow Factor
not sexy, but well lit, and layout is pretty nice.
