I'll be singing many songs the rest of my performing life into this gem...and then some...a long time!

Sound
The presence of this mic is very impressive. My routine choice of vocal mics is Neumann, but now love using the SE2200A for many of my vocal and acoustic guitar tracks. I love adding new mics to my studio arsenal and was really pleased to purchase this gem that came via a strong referral. I wasn't let down. I am proud to own it and love it on strictly one vocal w/ acoustic guitar recordings. It is so clean and warm, especially when using baritone vocal ranges. I don't EQ the vocals and am using my dbx 576 preamplifier/compressor for signal processing. I will probably purchase more.

Features
The shockmount is strong and looks vintage - as good as my Neumann shockmount, which was considerably more expensive. Really a nice unit.

Ease of Use
No problem with this mic. About as easy as it gets. The shockmount has been attached to my boom for a long time now, waitng for the mic to be inserted. I haven't bothered going back to my Neumann shockmounts. This is such a "sweet" mic!

Quality
I'm sure it's made well, but then I treat my mics with the respect they deserve. I put it to bed in it's case when I'm done with it and don't beat up my gear. It will last forever.

Value
Like I said, believe it or not, it rivals my Neumann and read more looks very cool and much less the price. What's not to like?!

Manufacturer Support
Nope!

The Wow Factor
Reminds me of early Abbey Road gear - I see and hear John and Paul singing "No Reply" into this baby! It has a cool vintage distinction about the way it looks - not just sounds!
