The cymbal is good. It has two drawbacks that I have found. First on occassion for whatever reason when you hit it, it doesn't respond, yet the very next time it will. I think it may not be sensitive enough. Second, it does not allow you to rotate it in order to avoid hitting in the same spot so that spot begins to wear some. I've used auto rubber conditioner on it and it restores the lustre to the black but it goes dull again pretty quickly when playing. Other than that, its been very good.
