"BIG TONE for little cash."

Feature:
I think it has just enough amp choices (8) for this little amp. I don't really need 32 different choices. The acoustic voice is a nice feature, along with the other 7 amp choices. The effects work nicely, although I don't use effects, I mostly play blues. So if I can get a few overdriven sounds I am good with it. But I find myself occasionally turning to the flange, or to the phaser. And I may use the chorus with the acoustic amp choice? It's the TONE

Quality:
It's all solid, and the outer rims are trimed with a nice rubber edge and corners as well. It seems very solid, the knobs feel like they will hold up fine. I am not worried about the quality at all.

Value:
There is nothing that compares to this amp for the money, period, nothing even comes close that I am aware of. But then like I said, we'll see what shows up at the next NAMM show! even if other companies come out with a similar product, it will just be that much better for us, the consumers. Where else can you get an amp that models for the money? Now I could have gotten a floor stomper, but then you still have to go thru your amp.

Desirability:
I think it has some sex appeal for such a small amp. 30 watts, is plenty for a lot of applications. If I play somewhere that I need more punch, I will run my guitar (a strat) thru this amp, and my 50-watt TUBE, 1-12, also. and that's why I got it in the first place, to be able to get some unique (modeled) sounds to go with my 50 watt. To inhance my TONE. I didn't have to have it, well that may not be entirely true........but I had been wanting, and looking for a way to enhance my TONE. Without giving up my TUBE amp. This is the best deal for what I was wanting, not to tmention the price!!!!!!!

Sound:
The sound is actually phenominal, considering the price. The modeling is spot on to my ear, which isn't usually the case. Usually it's like, "well yeah it kinda sounds like that" this new Roland is great, in my opinion. they have really done an incredible job. Roland started the modeling, and then lost the first place spot to Line 6, they may be coming around to challenge Line 6? The quality is just excellent is all I can say. Now it used to be often said, that Roland amps were, "soft" this one doesn't have to worry about getting tagged with that observation, it has plenty of gain, head room, and just plain volume. It also sounds just as awesome, at low volumes, which means you can get the nice overdrives, or the distrotion you want with out having to crank the volume. If you don't believe me, go play one and see for yourself. I am very happy with mine. It's got good TONE.

Support:
I don't know about the support, I don't think I will need it, anyway.

Overall:
I think it is exactly what I need for now. If I star5t getting gigs in large arenas, I may have to reconsider my gear. BUt if I was playing gigs like that, I would anyway, cause I'd have all the money I wanted to spend on gear. and I sure would have a big budget for gear, if i was in that situation. For the small gigs I play it's plenty. has ins and outs that I can go into the PA if I need to, and they say the amp sounds even better thru a sound system, well it doesn't sound better, you can just get better modeling going thru a board.

"Swiss Army Amp. Sharp. Very sharp!"

Feature:
Pretty wonderful. Sold a $400 Fender Dyna-Touch amp because the Fender model on here sounds much better. Selling a Blues Jr. because the Fender Tweed model on here sounds much better. Sold a Marshall AVT because the Marshall model here sounds much better! Get the picture? I don't mind having reverb/delay on one knob. Sounds great. Other FX, except tremelo, are a little strong. A level knob for FX is the only improvement I'd ask for. Good outputs for phone, recording, PA.

Quality:
Looks like it's made to take a tumble or two.

Value:
More small amps are coming with modeling choices, but I think this is th e one to beat for a few years to come.

Desirability:
Looks more industrial than sexy, but it's what comes out of the black box that matters.

Sound:
After being stunned at the sound of the smaller, amazing Roland Microcube, I have sold several of my larger practice amps because this sweetheart replaces them all -- and gives me the additional options of a Marshall, Peavey or Mesa stack. How wonderful is that?

Support:
No problems, no experience.

Overall:
This will serve me well for years, unless I need the power of the Cube 60.
