Audio snakes serve to contain all the output ends of cables into one compact unit. Got 8 mic cables and 4 guitar/instrument cables that you have to run into a mixer? plug them all into a Pro Co StageMaster SMC0804FBQ. From the SMC0804FBQ you can then route its outputs easily to an outboard mixer or another audio unit. The SMC0804FBQ has a single cable output end that has split cable plug ends which then lets you them route those ends to another input device without all the cable mess. The input box serves as the intermediary to modular-ly route each input to whatever output you need.

The StageMaster SMC0804FBQ, as any great audio snake is supposed to be, has a sturdy ultra-hard metal stagebox casing housing all the terminal ends and connections. Most bands worry that buying a snake with poor contact points causes in the long run you to start losing inputs as their connections get shorted. If you're worried about the snake losing connection with your cable plugs over time Pro Co took care of this issue by using "no-solder" contacts points.
