The CO-3 Series Microphone is the entry-level ear-worn microphone designed for speech reinforcement for church liturgy, lecturing, and other applications that require good quality vocal pick up in a hands-free environment. It has an omni-directional polar pattern which allows a full 360 degree pick up of sound providing a natural blend of voice and ambience. The design of the CO-3 series lends itself to reduced speech produced "popping sounds" and voice overloads in close mic applications, and is less susceptible to wind and clothing noise than lavaliere style microphones. Its distinguishing clarity in close talk operation and excellent gain before feedback make it suitable for applications where higher degrees of speech intelligibility are desired.

This headset works SO much better than the lapel mic that comes with the box. It's barely noticeable because of the color and size. I use this to mic the officiant during wedding ceremonies and the sound has much more volume & very clear. I'm very happy with this purchase
