Manufacturer's Description for Ovation 1861AX Standard Balladeer Super-Shallow Bowl Acoustic-Electric Guitar

The round back designs on Ovation acoustics make them strong providers of a superior tone with powerful projection. The 1861AX Balladeer provides a super shallow cutaway acoustic with a solid spruce (AA) top and scalloped X bracing. The rosewood fingerboard looks and feels magnificent thanks to its smooth playability and pearl dot/diamond inlays. The pearl oak leaf rosette rounds out this good looking guitar and the OCP-1K electronics are an essential compliment to the tone of this guitar when playing through a PA or amplifier.

Sound: Has a nice full sound, and you can make it bite with the right strings. Feature: The electronics, and the machine heads make it easy to tune and stay in tune Ease of Use: I put Elixer strings on mine and they sound great together Quality: Very good and well built, well balanced Value: Well worth the money, just have to use a strap but the thin body gives a surprisingly good sound. Manufacturer Support: never used support The Wow Factor: Very great appeal and tough guitar. Overall: I have had mine for several years and it is one of my favorite guitars. I would replace it immediately!
