The round back designs on Ovation acoustics make them strong providers of a superior tone with powerful projection. The 1861AX Balladeer provides a super shallow cutaway acoustic with a solid spruce (AA) top and scalloped X bracing. The rosewood fingerboard looks and feels magnificent thanks to its smooth playability and pearl dot/diamond inlays. The pearl oak leaf rosette rounds out this good looking guitar and the OCP-1K electronics are an essential compliment to the tone of this guitar when playing through a PA or amplifier.
