zZounds is an
authorized Numark dealer

The CM200USB includes two USB audio devices built into the mixer allowing the user to utilize their computer music files without the need of drivers or sound cards. Two USB ports are included so you can take advantage of the multiple sound card feature found in most DJ mixing software. You can also record your mix at the same time as play back (full duplex). The mixer offers 5 channels of control plus a separate DJ mic section. Each channel includes PFL gain controls, and a 3-band EQ with Kill function. Also included is a user-replaceable, fully assignable crossfader that is conveniently set up to activate remote-start CD players. Outputs include a high quality master XLR output that offers panning and mono options. Also included are record, zone, and headphone outputs with split blend mixing controls for cueing. USB outputs are offered for both the record and master levels.

Sound: This mixer by far sounds cleaner than the Numark it replaced. No hiss, humming or crackling. Feature: I think the only way to improve this unit is to mount a gooseneck stud on the face, and the power switch should also be on the face. the location of the power switch makes rack mounting not a good choice. Complete with USB and power cables, it's easy to see the lables on the front of the panel and all the control sliders move easy and cleanly. Ease of Use: Although I haven't use the usb features of this unit, learning the features is a breeze. The manual could be a little more discriptive, but the "trial and error" method takes minutes. Quality: If this unit lasts as long as the one it replaced, I will be using it 20 yrs. from now, and it comes packed very well. Box was slightly damaged upon arrival, but perfect packing protected it. Value: This mixer is priced much better than other units that cost much more. Excellent value! I WILL be purchasing another one as a back up. The Wow Factor: Although I've never given electronics "sex appeal", more, practicality at the perfect price. Overall: No desire to search for a different brand, this one has everything I need for a DJ rig. As before, the location of the power switch is the only thing I could really find wrong, but the performance makes up for it. So much stuff packed into this small, yet lightweight unit makes it so close to perfect, this mixer is a bargain.
