The MXL2003 is intended for the most critical recording applications where tremendous clarity, presence and detail are required. Ideal for recording classical to jazz and rock to rap, the MXL2003 is an outstanding performer in a class with the world's finest studio mics.

Feature:
Nice shock-mount. dB switch is nice. Wish the carrying case was padded. Otherwise, no complaints.

When recording orchestra, this mic exhibits fantastic detail and excellent balance. This mic coupled with a Mackie Onyx 400 makes for an excellent home or mobile recording setup with the ability to deliver professional results.

For vocals, you'll need a wind screen. Otherwise, this mic faithfully reproduces the performance in all it's detail.
Support:
Never needed it so I can't rate it.
