The MXL2003 is intended for the most critical recording applications where tremendous clarity, presence and detail are required. Ideal for recording classical to jazz and rock to rap, the MXL2003 is an outstanding performer in a class with the world's finest studio mics.

Nice shock-mount. dB switch is nice. Wish the carrying case was padded. Otherwise, no complaints.

For vocals, you'll need a wind screen. Otherwise, this mic faithfully reproduces the performance in all it's detail.
