Using transformerless FET circuitry and a 20mm gold diaphragm capsule design, The 604 delivers the dynamic range required in the most demanding instrument miking applications. It features; -10 dB switchable attenuation; selectable low-frequency roll-off; and an interchangeable omnidirectional capsule, making the 604 perfect for acoustic guitar, ambient and overhead drum miking. The 604 exhibits low-noise characteristics with a wide dynamic range.

again, just the thing for acoustic guitar.
Sound
As was mentioned, a good sound for acoustic guitar. I just bought a second one for stereo recording. I would comment it sounds "flat and even" as opposed to punchy or boomy, some mics add their own character and this doesn't seem to. That makes it excellent for rhythm guitar and general, background use. Also, some other mics I tried can get overloaded from a hot level, this doesn't seem to rattle or break up too much. Good clean sound, no noise. I like this mic.
