The A15-DCES acoustic/electric cutaway dreadnought has an amazing bold and balanced tone. The solid Sitka spruce top resonates incredibly well and will continue to improve with time.

At first glance, the Merida A15-DCES looks like so many other quality dreadnought style guitars. However, a closer look will show that this is no ordinary run of the mill dreadnought guitar. The incredible attention to detail is clearly evident throughout. On the inside you'll find clean, neat, scalloped bracing and kurfing. On the outside, all mahogany bindings, inlaid wooden rosette and the headstock is graced with a subtle, yet handsome, inlaid "M".

Its big bold sound is further enhanced by its Graphtech Black Tusq XL nut and saddle and D'Addario EXP 12-52 gauge strings. Tuning is handled by a set of high quality DerJung sealed, adjustable tuning gears and a Fishman/Merida Isys preamp helps make this instrument sound incredible when plugged in!

Lastly, every Merida guitar undergoes a thorough inspection and is then expertly setup in thier Norwalk, Connecticut facility. Fret, neck, nut and saddle adjustments are made so when you receive your guitar it's ready to play right out of the box!
