"laptop recording dream"

i like the portablity for mobile recording with my laptop, but i plan on an upgrade to firewire home based studio to cut down on the set up and reconnect everytime i want to work at home or on the road

computer based recording is fine. sets up very easy.

mic pre amp loses power over time wich results in a weak signal

if you work with midi, well , midi is midi
Quality
power supply went out in the first week but support sent a replacement asap. fine after that 2 years strong
