Manufacturer's Description for Magix Samplitude Pro Recording Software (Windows)

The new Samplitude 7 offers everything that a digital audio work station requires: Recording, mixing, editing & mastering - in fact everything up to and including the burning of manufactured Red Book-compatible audio CDs.

You can of course also carry out DVD productions in the standard 24 bit with up to 192 kHz. One of the strongest suits in the Samplitude family is absolute sound neutrality - comparable in fact with high end analogue consoles.

The sound always remains full and transparent, retaining its depth without tingeing. Highly developed digital algorithms, absolute phase stability and the constant use of floating point calculations ensure that the sound keeps its nuances even after the most intensive digital processing. Full warm bass and crystal clear treble remain true from the original recording to the finished CD. Plus: the outstanding POW-r dither algorithm. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Magix products.

Sound: Look I do (Hard Core) Hip-Hop and this in protools competition. This program lets you do things in a fraction of the time as protools and has the same sound & effects quality. I'm guessing in a few years the industry will be recognizing this sofware because I have myself produced some up and comming names that are being noticed as you read.Get this sofware and get yourself a nice mic,mic pre-amp,compressor,tube,and preferably emu or better sound card. You will notice that everthing will start to sound better. Feature: yeah but I dont think i have to list them to you do I??? Quality: Forever hopefully. Value: Well I wish I could have paid less, but you get what you pay for. Manufacturer Support: Havent delt with them.(no problems) The Wow Factor: Great! Overall: The time it takes to bounce the overall track sometimes can be fairly long.
