The time it takes to bounce the overall track sometimes can be fairly long.
Sound
Look I do (Hard Core) Hip-Hop and this in protools competition. This program lets you do things in a fraction of the time as protools and has the same sound & effects quality. I'm guessing in a few years the industry will be recognizing this sofware because I have myself produced some up and comming names that are being noticed as you read.Get this sofware and get yourself a nice mic,mic pre-amp,compressor,tube,and preferably emu or better sound card. You will notice that everthing will start to sound better.
