Manufacturer's Description for Mackie S225 Passive Loudspeaker (2x15 in.)

The perfect complement for any powered mixer or amplifier, the Mackie S225 has a dual-woofer configuration. The S225 features two woofers. A 1.75-inch titanium dome compression driver with optimized symmetric phase plug handles the high frequencies.

The driver/crossover combination allows the S225 to handle up to 2800 watts of peak power, deliver a peak SPL of 135dB, with a frequency response of 46Hz to 20kHz.

The S225 features a high-output, low- and high-frequency driver matched with a precision passive crossover. The input accepts either a Neutrik Speakon connector or 1/4-inch TRS. S Series cabinets are constructed using ultra-tough 18mm Baltic birch plywood and pressure-injected structural resin. The rugged enclosure, which employs integrated carrying handles and molded corners, works in concert with the driver/crossover combination to allow the S225 loudspeaker to deliver extremely high sound pressure levels while retaining a very natural sound. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Mackie products.

"AWESOME SPEAKERS"
Sound: LOUD..powered by a crown xti4000 in stereo mode....LOUD Feature: ...it's a speaker...but i really wish they put wheels on it..it heavy Ease of Use: ....plug it in Quality: grill dents easily....but pops right back out...nice quality tho. Value: wish it was a little cheaper...like evreything else Manufacturer Support: never had to use it The Wow Factor: IT LOOKS AWESOME....AND BIG!!!!!!! Overall: overall it's really nice...i love it but i still have to out it through the test of a al nighter.

"it's "BUILT IKE A TANK""
Sound: very crisp clear sound...it sounds like a 3way Feature: features both speakon and 1/4 inch. Ease of Use: very easy,a kid can do it Quality: IT's A MACKIE!!!!!!!!!!!....build like a TANK! Value: cold be a little cheaper like evreything else..but i got a good deal so im happy. Manufacturer Support: had some questions and they answered them right away...hold was a little long..but thats ok The Wow Factor: very "sek c" nice black finish. Overall: love it..it's rally a great product by mackie. +1 for them
